Designed specifically to fit the Evolution Aqua range of UV systems. The quartz sleeves are incorporated into the UV system to protect the UV bulb from contact with water. People tent to replace these on a yearly basis as they often attract stubborn algae which is hard to remove, making the UV less effective against green water. It is also advisable to replace the rubber O rings yearly as they can become brittle and allow moisture to enter the ballast unit.
